Bob Orban writes on Audio processing in Septembers’ Radio World

Audio processing guru and inventor of the Optimod, Bob Orban has written an article on audio processing trends including those for podcasts and streams in which he highlights that audio processing for speech “ must handle speech and music equally well while producing artistically pleasing loudness balances between them“. He goes on to explain that “It is very tricky to get this right, involving the choice of signal processing topology and tuning hundreds of parameters. The payoff is likely to be longer time spent listening, because the (audio) processing never calls negative attention to itself”  This explains why Audyllic, which uses Orban Optimod technology behind the scenes gives your Podcast far superior audio processing and listenability to any built in plug in for a DAW or low price audio processing software that is downloadable from the web.
